Job description

Temporary Accounts Assistant

We are seeking a Temporary Accounts Assistant for a manufacturing business located in the Ferndown area. The position is initially for a minimum of 6 months, with the possibility of extending to 1 year.

Reporting to the Finance Director, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Processing a high volume of purchase and sales invoices in multiple currencies and entities.
  2. Assisting with staff expenses, payment runs, vendor statements, credit control, and month-end reporting.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent time management skills, and be able to switch effortlessly between Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks. Strong Excel skills are essential, and experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems will be a distinct advantage.

Initial training will be provided onsite for 2-3 weeks, followed by a hybrid working arrangement. The role offers an excellent working environment, onsite parking, and a friendly team.
