Qualifikationen

• Experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role.
• Experience with VAT, reconciliations, and transactional finance processes.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaborative approach to work.
• Desirable: FMCG/manufacturing/distribution sector experience.

Aufgaben

• Process high volumes of purchase and sales invoices accurately and timely.
• Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with the preparation and submission of VAT returns.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of payments and receipts.
• Maintain supplier records and resolve invoice and payment queries.
• Process employee expenses and company credit card transactions.
• Assist with month-end processes, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and reporting schedules.
• Reconciling supplier statements and investigating discrepancies.
• Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to resolve finance queries efficiently.
• Provide general administrative support to the finance team as required.
