Salary: £17,000-£21,000 per annum, depending on age and experience
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Are you looking to start a career in accountancy with a role where you can learn, develop and build a long-term future?
We're working with a growing accountancy practice looking to recruit an Accounts Apprentice to join its contractor accountancy team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who is keen to learn how an accountancy practice operates, develop practical skills and work towards a recognised qualification.
You'll initially support the team with a variety of administrative and accounts-related duties, gaining hands‑on experience while learning from experienced colleagues. As your knowledge and confidence grow, you'll have the opportunity to take on more responsibility and develop your technical accounting skills.
As you progress, you'll be given the opportunity to develop your understanding of accounts, tax and wider accountancy practice work.
You don't need previous accountancy experience for this role. We're more interested in finding someone with the right attitude and potential.
Whether you've recently left school or college, are considering a career change, or are simply looking for an opportunity to get into accountancy, we'd be interested in hearing from you.
You’ll receive practical, on‑the‑job experience alongside structured apprenticeship training, allowing you to earn while you learn.
The longer‑term aim is to help you progress into a fully qualified accountant. Following completion of your apprenticeship, the firm will also support your continued professional development by covering exam costs.
