CMR Jobs Limited is recruiting an Accounts Apprentice in Cheadle Hulme to learn and develop within a growing accountancy practice. You will support the contractor accountancy team with a variety of administrative and accounts duties while training for a recognised qualification.

This full‑time, permanent role offers a salary of £17,000–£21,000 depending on age and experience, and a clear path to professional qualifications.

Qualifications

• No prior accountancy experience required.
• Hardworking and willing to learn.
• Team player with good communication.

Responsabilités

• Assisting with confirmation statements for limited companies.
• Supporting Companies House submissions and client identity verification checks.
• Helping manage incoming and outgoing post and general administration.
• Assisting with self‑assessment tax return information and submissions.
• Supporting bookkeeping tasks and the preparation of VAT returns.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring client information is kept up to date.
• Providing general support to the contractor accountancy team and helping deliver a good service to clients.
