Job summary

Lakaz Maurice is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join the accounts department in Aldershot. This role covers management accounts and accounts payable, with a focus on ensuring accurate reconciliations and timely banking transactions.

You will gain exposure to a range of accounting tasks including debtor control, sales ledgers, and preparing forecasts, in a leading automotive business. Pinnacle system experience is required and typical hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Pinnacle system experience required.
• Bank payments/BACs runs experience is desirable.
• Reconciliations and ledgers experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile daily records and process banking transactions
• Execute bank payments and BACs runs
• Perform bank statement reconciliations
• Analyse and post Petty Cash transactions
• Process and reconcile sales ledger entries
• Manage debtor control for both sales and vehicle ledgers
• Analyse and reconcile Deal Books, including bonuses and commissions
• Conduct general reconciliations to ensure accurate account production
• Reconcile balance sheets and manufacturer bonuses
• Manage credit control
• Assist in producing Management Accounts
• Prepare financial forecasts

Package:

Basic Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 (Depending on experience)
