Job summary

Able Bridge Recruitment is assisting an independent business in East Lothian to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a 6-month contract. The role supports the finance team, processes invoices, and liaises with suppliers to resolve queries.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of UK accounting experience, a driving licence with access to a vehicle, and can start immediately or on short notice. The role is office-based in a rural location.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experienced based in the UK.
• Driver's licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
• Available immediately or at short notice.
• Must be able to work unrestricted within the UK and be based in the immediate vicinity.

Responsibilities

• Processing and issuing sales invoices to group companies.
• Processing purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Liaising with the procurement team and suppliers to resolve invoice queries
• Assisting with supplier payment runs and ensuring invoices are paid on time.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day activities of the finance team.
