TMRG in Warwickshire is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join a small, collaborative finance team on a two-month contract. The role covers sales ledger, purchase ledger, and credit control, with hands-on responsibility for day-to-day finance operations.

You will chase outstanding debts, process supplier invoices, and support ongoing process improvements. The role is office-based, full-time, offering pro rata salary and parking facilities.

Qualificações

• Previous experience in accounts, ideally covering purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control.
• Good understanding of transactional finance processes and ledger reconciliations.
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to liaise with customers and suppliers.
• Ability to work independently in a small finance team.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and maintain the sales ledger, ensuring customer accounts are accurate and up to date.
• Chase outstanding debt via telephone and email, working within agreed credit terms.
• Monitor aged debt and take proactive steps to minimise overdue balances.
• Process purchase ledger invoices, ensuring accurate coding, authorisation and timely entry.
• Match purchase invoices to purchase orders and delivery documentation where applicable.
• Support supplier payment runs and maintain accurate supplier account records.
