Accounts Assistant (12 Month FTC) - Warwick Ford

Allen Motor Group are currently looking to employ an Accounts Assistant to join our Ford dealership in Warwick. The position is offered on a 37.5-hour week, Monday - Friday on a 12 month fixed term contract ideally starting on the 19th of May 2025, paying up to £27,000 DOE and will report to the Financial Accountant.

Do I need experience?

Whether you have previous finance experience or are looking to begin your career with us, we want to hear from you! The key attributes and skills we are looking for are:
  • Strong excel skills - use of xlookups, pivots and formatting
  • Being able to work quickly whilst maintaining the highest level of accuracy and quality
  • Work well in a highly engaged and friendly team
  • A desire to further your accountancy studies. Study support is available subject to passing probation
  • AAT Level 2 or higher would be very advantageous
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Once fully trained you will be expected to carry out the following duties in your day to day role:
  • Running daily reports
  • Posting daily new vehicle invoices
  • Reconciling vehicle purchase ledger and investigating any aged balances
  • Collating and assisting in checking documents such as vehicle purchase invoices
  • Completion of assigned monthly balance sheet reconciliations,
  • Processing and filing of monthly credit card transactions
  • ADHOC tasks as and when required
