Accounts Assistant - Swindon1 - 3 months, possibly longer
Temporary position
Immediate start

We are seeking a self-motivated and highly organised Accounts Assistant who can effectively manage their workload while working under pressure. The ideal candidate will be efficient, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills to engage with various professional organisations.
Key Requirements:

  • Some experience in accounting
  • Full working knowledge of Sage 50
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
  • Comprehensive understanding of day-to-day bookkeeping
  • Ability to liaise directly with various professional organisations

Responsibilities:

  • Raising and processing sales and purchase invoices
  • Bank and cashbook reconciliations
  • Credit control management
  • Company and petty cash reconciliations
  • Monthly deposit reconciliations
  • Balance sheet reconciliations

    Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Understanding of accounting principles up to Trial Balance level
  • Knowledge of debit and credit processing
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Professional communication skills, adaptable to all levels of interaction
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • A strong team player with excellent collaboration skills
