Role

We are looking to hire someone to help stay on top of our accounting. The role will include the following tasks:

• Scanning invoices, categorising them, and uploading them to a shared drive online.
• Checking statements from suppliers and requesting missing invoices, then liaising internally to ensure goods were received.
• Helping with monthly VAT filings.
• Checking invoices and comparing them to packing slips to ensure all items being charged for were received.
• Other ad hoc accounting tasks.

We don’t believe this role will require full-time hours but have scope to extend if needed. Initially, we are looking to hire someone who can work from 10am-3pm, Monday to Friday.

The role doesn’t require experience but will require:

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Being proactive.
• Capable problem solver.
• Polite and well-spoken English fluent speaker.
