About the opportunity:
Key responsibilities
  1. Purchase ledger duties: creating suppliers’ accounts, invoices coding, and posting to the ledger.
  2. Dealing with corporate credit card accounts: obtaining statements, receipts, coding, and uploading activity to the ledger.
  3. Preparation of weekly payment runs by reviewing aged creditors’ reports.
  4. Setting up multicurrency payments in Barclay’s internet banking system.
  5. Maintaining fixed assets register and processing monthly depreciation.
  6. Dealing with supplier’s queries, including discussions of outstanding balances.
  7. Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
  8. Processing of employee expense claims.
  9. Assisting in preparing monthly management accounts.
What you’ll bring
  1. Required bookkeeping knowledge, Excel skills, working experience in purchase ledger management, and working experience in balance accounts management.
  2. Ability to pay strict attention to detail.
  3. Experience with an accounting system and SAP Business One desirable.
