Part time Payroll and Purchase Ledger Assistant

Part Time Company Bookkeeper - Truro - £32,000 pro-rata

If you’re an experienced Bookkeeper seeking part time hours with almost total flexibility over working patterns, this could be a great opportunity for you. Trial Balance Consulting have been assigned by a long established and highly successful services business based in Truro (with free onsite parking). The business operates a number of companies within its group, predominantly specialising in commercial services and development.

They currently seek to recruit a part time Company Bookkeeper to join their team. The role will work over 20 hours per week and offers a high degree of flexibility as to how and when these hours are completed; from two full working days to five part time working days, this employer is very happy to base working patterns around other commitments.

The business hasimplemented a move from SAGE to Xero accounting software and this is fully supported by the company’s firm of Chartered Accountants. The successful candidate will ideally possess Xero experience, but exposure to another major cloud-based system who feel that they have the aptitude to adopt a new system are welcome to apply. The role calls for an experienced candidate with experience in all areas of SME bookkeeping to include sales/purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, VAT reporting and posting, payroll and CIS returns, monthly profit and loss and other management reports and other administration-based duties as required.
