This full-time or part-time permanent role involves handling various accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and using Sage software. Trial Balance Consulting has been exclusively engaged to assist an innovative hospitality business that has experienced phenomenal growth and expects a very busy year ahead. The company is based in modern offices on the outskirts of Newquay. They are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to ensure the smooth running of various accounting functions.

Responsibilities include:

1. Assist with accounts payable and receivable
2. Perform bank reconciliations
3. Monitor aged debtors
4. Input and maintain data on Sage-based accounting platform

We seek a candidate with at least 18 months of recent finance experience, ideally covering the full accounting function. Candidates can be either part or fully AAT qualified or qualified by experience. Good IT skills, especially with Sage, are preferred. The role is within a busy, friendly, and fast-paced department where excellent communication skills are essential.
