Fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business based in Trafford Park as an Accounts Assistant. This role offers a salary up to £29,000 depending on experience.

Client Details

Michael Page is working with a highly reputable, industry-leading retail business experiencing growth. They are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team at an exciting time for the company.

Description

Accounts Assistant duties include:

  1. Ownership and accountability for the store estate, ensuring daily reconciliation of tender to sales.
  2. Weekly store expense control and monitoring.
  3. Chargeback prevention and assisting the Customer Service team with defence.
  4. Compliance reporting.
  5. Ownership of reporting and KPIs for cash and expense management.
  6. Handling online queries.
  7. Daily transactional audit process and reporting.
  8. Managing store banking procedures, documentation, and external relationships.
  9. Development and maintenance of procedures to improve loss prevention.
  10. Online reconciliation across tenders and exception reporting.
  11. Assistance with month-end processes where time allows.
  12. Ad hoc work.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role (Required).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Required).
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (Required).
  • Sage experience (Desirable).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy (Required).
  • Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines (Required).

Job Offer
