Job summary

Goodman Masson is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join the Finance team of an international business. You will support processing supplier invoices in multiple currencies and assist with VAT and month-end close across various entities.

The role involves reconciling supplier statements, handling expenses, and contributing to financial controls and audits. This is a dynamic position offering exposure to international operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience within a multi-entity international finance environment.
• Experience with multi-currency invoices and international suppliers.
• Good understanding of VAT and financial controls.
• Strong Excel, reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Processing high-volume supplier invoices across multiple currencies
• Reviewing VAT treatment, including reverse charge and cross-border transactions.
• Preparing supplier payment runs and reconciling supplier statements.
• Processing employee expenses and corporate card transactions.
• Bank postings and reconciliations.

Accounts Assistant – Luxury Retail/Automotive - £35-40k

I’m currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join the Finance team of a growing international business. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a collaborative finance function and gain exposure to multiple entities, currencies and VAT jurisdictions across Europe and the Middle East.

The role:

• Processing high-volume supplier invoices across multiple currencies
