We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance Team within the Healix Group of Companies. The Healix Group has been providing healthcare and risk management solutions worldwide since 1992, offering bespoke services to clients managing their health, travel, and risk.

While our Finance team is relatively small, we support and depend on each other. It is essential that you are a team player, can prioritize your work effectively, and have an inquisitive mindset to ensure accuracy and quality in your tasks.
In addition, the Accounts Assistant should:
Possess a confident understanding and working knowledge of double entry bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Have a genuine interest in bookkeeping and accounting.
Be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word at an intermediate level.
Be a strong communicator with good command of English, both written and verbal.
Be diligent and helpful.
Ideally, we are seeking someone studying AAT or planning to study CIMA or ACCA.
The main responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant will include:
Ensuring bank receipts and payments are accurately recorded and reconciled.
Processing biweekly provider payment runs.
Processing client sales invoices and managing invoice distribution.
Managing aged debt and credit control.
Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations.
Processing accounting records efficiently within the Access Dimensions system.
Supporting colleagues across various departments including claims, customer care, senior management, and the accounts team.
The successful candidate is expected to be based at our Esher office initially, with the opportunity for hybrid working once fully trained.
