We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join our finance team in Crawley.

Please note this is a hybrid role where you will be expected to be in the office a minimum of 2/3 days per week.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities

  • Assisting with accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Preparing and processing journals and financial transactions.
  • Supporting month-end and year-end financial reporting.
  • Reconciling bank statements and credit control.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance.
  • Communicating with vendors, clients, and internal teams regarding financial matters.
  • Performing general administrative and clerical duties as required.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Ideally you should be studying towards an AAT qualification
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
