A leading accountancy firm in Edinburgh is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support their growing team. The role involves preparing annual accounts, managing bookkeeping, and handling payroll, with a focus on cloud accounting practices. Accounts Assistant
Location: Offices based in Edinburgh EH10 5QE + Dalkeith, EH22 1DS
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 per annum, DOE + Benefits
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Due to our continued rapid growth, we are now seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our team!
Main Responsibilities:
• Preparation of annual accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies,
• Preparation of CT600s and income tax returns,
• Preparation and submission of income tax returns,
• Bookkeeping,
• Payroll
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
• Minimum 2 years experience with a similar role within an accountancy practice,
• Experience of preparing accounts to trial balance stage and beyond,
• Experience of cloud accounting products, preferably Xero,
• Excellent communication skills as you will be dealing directly with our clients
