Job summary

Kenton Black Limited is seeking a Finance professional to support the German overseas entity from our Chorley head office. The role covers day-to-day transactional activity within Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, with exposure to intercompany activity and month-end tasks.

The successful candidate will be fluent in German, capable of professional written and verbal communication, and either partially qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE. Hybrid working with a competitive salary is offered.

Job description

Reporting to the finance lead in Germany, this role sits within a small team and will support the Financial Accountant based in Chorley, leading on all day to day transactional activity for a business unit located in Germany.

Main role duties:

• Raising customer invoices and processing payments for the overseas entity
• Managing all day-to-day financial transactions across Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable
• Bank reconciliations
• Assisting with month-end tasks where possible
• Processing of intercompany transactions
• Processing of travel expenses
• Inputting of employee expenses

The group finance function is based in Chorley, this role will sit within the head office function meaning you will gain exposure to the UK team as well as those employed to manage finance for the business in Germany.

To be considered you shall be an experienced Finance professional with the ability to communicate fluently both written and verbally in German. As well as the finance skills, you must also have experince using the German language in a professional capacity., To be considered you shall be an experienced Finance professional with the ability to communicate fluently both written and verbally in German. With the skills and experince stated in the JD, you shall have excellent communication skills. Part qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE you shall have a strong skillset within transactional finance and have the ability to work autonomously with a focus on time management.
