This is an opportunity to join a top 10 accountancy firm that has experienced substantial growth in recent years. The firm has a strong Scottish presence with several offices across the central belt of Scotland, serving a diverse client base ranging from local independent businesses to large international organizations. They are looking to recruit an experienced Business Services Senior Manager to oversee a varied portfolio of clients, mainly in the SME market, based in Glasgow.

Your new role
As an Accounts and Business Services Senior Manager, you will be responsible for managing a client portfolio with significant responsibilities, overseeing your team's portfolios, and ensuring effective workflow management. Your duties will include maintaining client relationships, delivering quality advice, and supporting the firm's growth opportunities. You will work both independently and collaboratively, with support from Directors/Partners for technical matters, and will take responsibility for mentoring junior staff.

• Manage a client portfolio with increased responsibility
• Oversee your team’s portfolios
• Utilize workflow management tools effectively
• Handle all aspects of client service, with support for technical issues from Directors/Partners
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, reporting to Directors/Partners
• Provide proactive support to clients, minimizing partner involvement
• Work autonomously and as part of a team
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality advice

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role within an accountancy firm, holding a professional qualification such as ICAS or ACCA. You should have experience managing a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries and be comfortable mentoring junior staff and supporting their development.
