Austin Rose Associates Limited seeks an ambitious Accounts and Advisory Manager in Kettering to lead a portfolio of rural and private clients, delivering sophisticated tax strategies and accountancy support. You will supervise a talented team, review complex tax computations, and drive advisory opportunities within the client base.

You will oversee WIP, billing, and compliance while collaborating on firm-wide technology and service enhancements to maintain high standards of client service.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a portfolio of rural and private clients.
• Strong tax advisory capabilities covering various regimes.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
• A track record of driving advisory opportunities within existing clients.

Responsibilities

• Act as lead adviser for complex client advisory projects, delivering tailored tax strategies for business owners and landed families.
• Review and approve tax computations, accounts, and self-assessment returns in line with UK GAAP and relevant standards.
• Oversee WIP, billing, recoveries and compliance tracking to maximise efficiency.
• Mentor and develop junior and senior team members through performance feedback and delegation.
• Collaborate on firm-wide initiatives, including technology adoption and cross-department referrals.
