SC Johnson is seeking an Accounting Team Lead in Frimley on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity. You will ensure timely month-end and year-end reporting, explain accounts to regional finance teams, and uphold internal controls including SOX compliance for SSC processes.

You will lead and develop the accounting team, recruit and train staff, and drive cross-country process improvements and LEAN initiatives while coordinating with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Accounting qualification or degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Solid business and accountancy knowledge.
• Experience leading a growing team and supporting senior management.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Familiar with SAP, BPC and BW systems.
• Exposure to US GAAP.
• Able to work in a multicultural team.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsabilités

• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end financial reporting.
• Explain finance accounts to local/regional Finance members as needed.
• Apply policies and internal controls; ensure SOX compliance for SSC processes.
• Lead, develop and empower the Accounting team; recruit and train as needed.
• Drive cross-country process improvements and LEAN initiatives.
• Support management in implementing SSC strategic vision and audits.
• Lead weekly team huddles and manage ad-hoc projects.
