Zurich is offering an Accounting Summer Internship in Whiteley for 2027. The 10-week programme starts in June 2027 and combines real responsibilities with mentorship, helping you understand how finance supports customers and the business.

Successful candidates gain exposure to projects across accounting, learn from industry experts, and can build a pathway to Zurich's graduate programmes commencing in 2027. A hybrid approach is mentioned, with in-office training and development.

Qualifications

• You must be in your penultimate year of undergraduate study and on track for a predicted 2:1 (or equivalent).
• You must have indefinite right to work and reside in the UK with three years of residence.
• At least 96 UCAS points from 3 A-Levels (or equivalent) excluding general studies.
• A minimum GCSE grade C/4 in English and Maths (or equivalent).
• Although not mandatory, a numeric degree is preferred for accounting.
• You should be able to work full-time in the office at the start of the scheme.

• Be involved in real projects that deliver value to the business and customers, such as process transformation, providing financial support or developing MI for management.

What you’ll need:

• You must have an indefinite, full right to work and reside in the UK. We cannot accept applications from those who require sponsorship to work in the UK. You must have resided in the UK for a minimum of three consecutive years.
• You must be in your penultimate year of undergraduate study and on track for a predicted 2:1 (or equivalent)
• As Accounting is based in numbers, we prefer a numeric degree, but this isn’t a requirement. A passion for becoming an effective accountant ismoreimportant.
• At least 96 UCAS points from 3 A-Level subjects (or equivalent) excluding general studies.
• A minimum C/4 grade in both English and Maths at GCSE level (or equivalent).
• Although we are a hybrid workforce, you should be within a commutable distance to the office workplace stated in this advert. At the beginning of the scheme you’ll need to work full-time in the office. This will help with face-to-face training, building your personal brand and broadening your network. Depending on the team you are placed in, there may be a requirement to work in the office for most of the working week.
