1. Role: Accounting Software Tester to validate, verify, and improve our AI-powered accounting platform
2. Focus: Ensure high-quality user experience by testing functionalities, identifying issues, and providing feedback for continuous improvement
3. Commitment: Approximately 2-3 hours per month on a part-time basis

What You’ll Do

1. Test and Validate: Thoroughly test new features and updates, such as transaction entries, reporting dashboards, and integrations.
2. Bug Identification: Proactively identify, document, and track bugs and discrepancies.
3. Scenario Creation: Design real-world accounting scenarios to test the platform’s handling of day-to-day tasks and edge cases.
4. Feedback Loop: Provide clear feedback and suggestions for improvements to developers and product teams.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and product managers to ensure quick fixes and maintain quality.
6. Compensation: Competitive hourly rate of $10-40 USD, depending on experience.
7. Remote-First: Work from anywhere, with alignment to US time zones for meetings.
8. Flexible Schedule: About 5 hours weekly, suitable for part-time, project-based work.

What You Bring

1. 1–3 years of accounting experience: Familiarity with bookkeeping, journal entries, and financial reports.
2. Experience with Accounting Software: Comfort with tools like QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, and quick to learn new platforms.
3. Attention to Detail: Ability to spot inconsistencies in transactions, data, and UI.
4. Fluent English (C1+): Excellent communication skills for bug reports and documentation.
5. Remote-First Mindset: Comfortable collaborating via Slack, email, and video calls within US time zones.
6. Availability: 5 hours/week, flexible, with overlap with US business hours.
7. Work Ethic: Willingness to move fast, give clear feedback, and operate with urgency.
