Job description

Hybrid, London (2–3 days/week in office) | 6-month contract with possible extension

We're looking for a talented Accounting Manager to take ownership of financial reporting and compliance across multiple entities in the UK, Ireland, and Nordics. This role offers a chance to lead statutory and US GAAP reporting, manage external audits, and collaborate with cross-functional global teams—all within a fast-paced, international environment.

What you’ll do:

Own Record-to-Report (R2R) processes for local and US GAAP

Oversee statutory filings, tax compliance, and financial statements

Lead external audit processes and internal control reviews (SOX, ICS, GRC)

Collaborate with stakeholders across Tax, Treasury, Sales Finance, and Business Leadership

Support and coordinate outsourced accounting operations

Drive process improvement and innovation across the finance landscape

Who you are:

️ A qualified accountant with 8+ years of experience

️ Proven track record in financial reporting & compliance

️ Solid knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and local accounting regulations

️ Strong communicator with cross-functional collaboration skills

️ Fluent in English, both written and verbal

️ Proficient in Oracle, Excel, PowerPoint (Hyperion a plus)

Nice to have:

Experience working with international teams

Data analysis skills and a drive for continuous improvement

Familiarity with local authorities and regulatory bodies
