TC Group is offering an Accounting Apprentice position in the UK with an accredited work-based learning programme combining an honours degree from RGU with the ICAS Chartered Accountant qualification over five years. The role is based in our Dundee or Perth offices with a mix of online learning and in-person university days, under mentor guidance.

Salary starts at £14,560 per year and will increase each year as coursework is successfully completed, with 35 hours per week and flexible working.

About the Accounting Apprentice role

TC MMG are looking for apprentices who have a passion for becoming a Chartered Accountant to work in either our Dundee or Perth office.

The apprenticeship programme is an accredited work-based learning programme combining an honours degree from RGU with the globally recognised ICAS Chartered Accountant qualification over a five-year period. This is mainly completed through supported online learning and some in person university days. Academic study is combined with the practical experience you obtain from working in the office whilst you are being supported by your mentor.

Throughout your five-year course, you will move between each of our departments, such as Payroll, Virtual Finance, Accounts, Tax and Audit and gain experience to support your learning whilst working.

Timeframes for the role

We will be accepting applications until 31 March 2027, so you won’t hear back until the start of April 2027 whether you have been selected for interview or not. Interviews will be held in April / May 2027. The role will start late August 2027 and then the university course will commence the beginning of September 2027.
