We are searching for an experienced Accounting and Financial Reporting Assistant to join our team in Manchester.

Role Overview

Join our consulting team as an Assistant supporting our Accounting and Financial Reporting team in Preston. You will assist team members in preparing financial statements, conducting analytical reviews, and ensuring deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities

1. Preparing annual financial statements for various entity types, including audit-ready statements.
2. Conducting variance analysis and analytical reviews of accounts.
3. Maintaining communication with supervisors and managers regarding work findings.
4. Adhering to timescales and deadlines, seeking guidance when necessary.
5. Performing additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Is AAT qualified with at least 5 GCSEs (A-C), including B in Maths and English.
• Can work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Has experience in a client-facing environment (advantageous).
• Possesses excellent interpersonal skills.
• Is enthusiastic, self-motivated, and proactive.
