Lockheed Martin UK Ltd is offering a 12‑month Placement for an Accounting Analyst to work with our team of accountants and financial analysts. This role provides hands‑on experience in accounts preparation and financial management within a major international corporation.

You will analyse data from ledgers, gain SAP experience, and support month‑end, year‑end activities, audits, and process improvements while contributing to challenging financial operations.

Qualifications

• Candidates are pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics or related fields.
• Expected minimum 2:1 classification for degree.
• Proficient with spreadsheets, especially Excel.
• Able to meet tight deadlines while juggling priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and clear written and verbal communication.
• Motivation and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Able to liaise across departments and with auditors when needed.

Responsibilities

• Data gathering and analysis from ledgers and financial systems to support decision-making.
• Gain SAP system experience and manage financial transactions and tasks.
• Assist with month-end and year-end postings, reconciliations and reporting.
