2025 marks the tenth season of the MoneyGram Haas F1 Team in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship. As the first American team since 1986, we have made a significant impact with a strong debut in 2016 and continue to grow with clear objectives, including our second-best season to date.

Position Overview: Accounting Analyst

This role reports to the Accounting Manager and is based in Kannapolis, NC, USA. The Accounting Analyst is crucial for daily finance operations, ensuring best practices in processing accounts payable, receivable, treasury, and general ledger transactions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teamwork and Communication: Foster effective communication and relationships across departments.
2. Accounts Payable: Lead vendor setup, invoice processing, resolving queries, statement reconciliations, and payments; prepare payment proposals mid-month and at month-end.
3. Accounts Receivable: Manage customer setup, invoicing, resolving queries, statements, and collections.
4. Treasury: Handle payments through banking systems, record bank entries, reconcile statements, and manage general ledger entries for month-end reporting.
5. Other Duties: Support credit card and expense reporting, assist with ERP upgrades, prepare audit documentation, and comply with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• College or university degree in Accounting with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication skills, proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel), and experience with Microsoft D365 preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure, within a team, with a positive attitude and attention to detail.

Equipment & Environment

Must have a computer with Microsoft Office and D365. The role may require domestic and international travel, long hours, and physical demands such as lifting up to 50 pounds and working in a fast-paced environment with machinery and race cars. Compliance with health and safety policies is mandatory.
