E3 Recruitment represents a specialist Accountancy Practice based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. They are recruiting an experienced Accountant who has worked in a practice, ACCA/ACA qualified, and familiar with Xero or Sage.

The role involves in-person or video client engagements to support client growth and provide forward-thinking advisory services. The ideal candidate will handle accounts preparation, corporation tax, management accounts, and VAT/CIS returns while maintaining strong client

Qualifications

• ACCA or ACA qualification.
• Experience in an accountancy practice.
• Experience using Xero or Sage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial accounts to trial balance for clients.
• Prepare and compute corporation tax returns.
• Prepare monthly or quarterly management accounts for clients.
• Assist in the preparation of personal tax returns.
• Complete and submit VAT returns for clients.
• Submit CIS returns where applicable.
• Perform bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and manage invoices.
• Maintain strong communication with clients via in-person or video calls.
• Support client growth through advisory input and proactive service.

A specialist Accountancy Practice based in Wakefield West Yorkshire who have quickly expanded their client base across the UK are recruiting for an experienced Accountant who has worked within a Practice. They pride themselves on delivering exceptional service, providing honest advice, and offering forward‑thinking solutions tailored to each client's needs. The Accountant will be ACCA / ACA qualified and have a number of years working within an Accountancy Practice using Xero or Sage and work closely with their clients in person / video calls to offer support the growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Preparation: Prepare financial accounts to trial balance stage for clients.
• Corporation Tax: Prepare and compute corporation tax returns.
• Management Accounts: Prepare monthly or quarterly management accounts for clients.
• Personal Tax Returns: Assist in the preparation of personal tax returns.
• VAT: Complete and submit VAT returns for clients.
• CIS Returns: Ideally able to submit Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) returns.
• Bookkeeping: Perform bookkeeping tasks including bank reconciliations, managing supplier and customer invoices.
• Client Contact: Maintain strong communication with clients, providing them with financial support and updates.
• Xero Knowledge: Preferable to have experience with Xero accounting software.
