Job summary

Nationwide is seeking an Accountant supporting Costs within the Retail Finance Business Partnering team. You’ll drive cost efficiency, deliver insightful analysis and support decision-making to create value for our members. The role offers hybrid working and exposure to finance business partnering across Retail and Group Customer Operations.

You’ll also have regular collaboration with senior stakeholders and opportunities to develop your career within Nationwide’s finance function.

Job description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Retail Finance Business Partnering team as an Accountant supporting Costs. You’ll play an important role in helping Nationwide deliver its strategic priorities, working closely with colleagues across Finance and senior stakeholders across Retail & Group Customer Operations.

In this role, you’ll provide financial support to drive cost efficiency, develop insightful analysis, and support effective challenge and decision-making — all with a focus on delivering value for our members. Will get great exposure for finance business partnering roles in the future.

For this role, you'll be based at your nearest regional office or hub. We value time spent together to connect with colleagues for collaboration so there will be a regular requirement to attend our Swindon site approximately once per month. If you are based at an office location, you'll be expected to meet our hybrid working requirement of at least two days a week, or 40% of your working time if part-time, in the office.
