Accountant

We are currently looking for an Accountant to join our Finance team in our UK office.

Your role will encompass:

• Perform accounting activities (booking disbursements/cash receipts).
• Monitor the receivables/payables and reconcile bank statements for several legal entities of the group.
• Prepare payments on various e-banking platforms.
• Participate in the cash flow recording activities (actual) within the group to ensure accurate and timely cash flow analysis.
• Collaborate with financial controlling teams to ensure the on-time recording of cash in & out activities.
• Assist the Country Finance Manager and the Controllers with monitoring budgets.
• Maintain and reconcile the balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
• Assist the Country Finance Manager with annual audit activities.
• Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance in cooperation with the Country Finance Manager.

What you bring to the role:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in an international environment.
• Solid accounting and tax skills including VAT, withholding tax, CIT, etc.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines in terms of both internal and external reporting requirements ensuring IFRS compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
• SAP knowledge is required.
• Prior experience within the Renewables and/or EPC construction industry will be regarded as a strong plus.
