A local authority in London is seeking an Accountant to deliver efficient financial services and support management with budgeting and reporting tasks. The role involves preparing financial estimates, managing budgets, and working alongside budget holders to ensure accuracy and support. Ideal candidates will hold CCAB or CIMA qualifications and demonstrate strong financial acumen.

Spencer Clarke Group is working in partnership with a local authority in the London area to assist with the recruitment of an Accountant.
Role Brief: Take responsibility for providing an efficient and effective finance service whilst contributing to the range of financial/management accounting tasks, reconciliation, and reporting responsibilities.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to and challenge senior management and budget holders to ensure that financial forecasts and future budget plans are based on robust financial and non-financial information, supporting prompt, responsive, and remedial action.
