Job summary

FoodHub Restaurant Group is seeking an accounting professional to join the administration team in Scotland. Reporting to the Group Accountant, this hands-on role covers internal and external clients’ accounting functions across a wide scope.

The position requires an internationally recognized accounting designation and 2+ years of relevant experience, with advanced Excel and proficiency in accounting software. Evening/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires internationally recognized accounting designation.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality or healthcare.
• Advanced Excel skills for adhoc reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and organize administrative and financial systems.
• Manage billing & claims, A/R, A/P, cost and inventory accounting.
• Oversee End of Day, End of Week and Month End reporting.
• Review financial reports for accuracy and provide feedback.
• Participate in preparation of financial statements and monthly reporting.
• Perform daily accounting/administrative duties and other duties as required.

Job description

We are seeking an accounting professional to join our administration team. Reporting to the Group Accountant; this is a hands-on role with wide scope over both internal and external clients’ accounting functions. Duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Development and organization of administrative and financial systems
• Management of billing & claims, A/R, A/P, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting
• Oversee End of Day, End of Week, and Month End reporting
• Review of financial reports for accuracy and providing feedback and analysis
• Property and asset management
• Participation in the preparation of financial statements and monthly reporting
• Performance of daily accounting/administrative duties and others as required

Applicants should have an internationally recognized Accounting designation with at least 2 years experience. Experience in hospitality and/or healthcare accounting will be an asset. Advanced Excel skills to create and edit spreadsheets for adhoc reporting are essential. Proficiency in an accounting software program is required. Attention to details and adherence to deadlines will be paramount.

Due to the nature of the business, applicants must be prepared to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
