Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group seeks an Assistant Accountant to support a busy finance function across management reporting, ledgers, reconciliations and wider accounting activity.

This role offers an opportunity to develop within an established international business and progress professionally, with exposure to ERP systems and advanced Excel reporting.

Qualifications

• Previous finance or accounting experience
• Strong numerical ability
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working with accounting systems
• Organised and able to meet deadlines
• Candidates studying towards AAT/ACCA or CIMA would be welcomed

Responsibilities

• Support preparation of monthly management accounts
• Assist with financial reporting
• Complete balance-sheet reconciliations
• Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Process journals and accruals
• Assist with month-end activities
• Support budgeting and forecasting
• Assist with audit preparation
• Work with ERP and accounting systems
• Produce Excel reports and financial analysis
• Support the wider finance team as required
