We are working with an established not-for-profit organisation to recruit an Accountant. The role covers management and financial accounting, business partnering, fixed assets and year-end reporting. It suits someone who enjoys liaising with operational teams and making a positive community impact.

The role offers hybrid working, with 3 days in the office per week, and a salary of £60,000 per annum. Located in Central London, it is a full-time, permanent position.

Qualifications

• CCAB qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience preparing financial statements and supporting the year-end process.
• Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders.
• Strong reconciliation and financial reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational teams, providing financial reports, analysis and constructive challenge to support decision-making.
• Support budget holders with budgeting, forecasting and financial monitoring.
• Assist with the year-end process, including audit preparation and statutory reporting.
• Maintain the fixed asset register, recording additions, disposals and depreciation.
• Prepare VAT returns and support wider financial compliance activities.
• Produce balance sheet reconciliations and support the month-end close process.
• Contribute to improvements in financial processes and controls.

About you

• CCAB qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
