Reed in Nottingham is seeking a reliable Part-Time Accountant to run day-to-day finance functions, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance across the business. The role suits an experienced Accountant or Senior Bookkeeper who can work autonomously and own all accounts processes.

Key duties include bookkeeping, VAT returns, bank reconciliations, and producing monthly management accounts with proactive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a broad accounting role covering bookkeeping through to management accounts.
• Strong knowledge of VAT returns and HMRC requirements.
• Experience using accounting software such as Sage, Xero or QuickBooks.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing the full bookkeeping function.
• Processing purchase and sales ledger transactions.

We are recruiting for a reliable and experienced Part-Time Accountant to join a well-established Nottingham-based business. This is a hands-on position offering responsibility for the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance across the business.
