Job Title: Accountant

Location: Office based, Edinburgh

Company Description

We are an experienced firm of chartered accountants based in the heart of Edinburgh, but we’re not your average collar-and-tie people. While we pride ourselves on our high level of service and client retention, we are also driven in creating a fun and enjoyable work atmosphere. We're looking to add members to our busy accounts team and are happy to accommodate candidates ranging in experience, from new trainees (who we will support with an ACCA approved training package) to more experienced accountants who have worked in practice (and may or may not be qualified / part qualified).

Core Responsibilities

• Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and charities
• Preparation of VAT returns and management accounts
• Preparation of business tax and personal tax returns
• Meeting client expectations in terms of accuracy and timescales for delivery of work
• Being highly responsive to client needs

• A relevant undergraduate degree in accountancy or finance
