Sheridan Maine is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Hampshire-based client that operates in an interesting and niche sector. The role requires a technically strong qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA), with experience from either industry or practice.

Working as part of a large team, you will liaise with various stakeholders and the wider finance function.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Financial reporting and control
• Preparation of financial statements and reports
• Intercompany accounting, reconciliations, journals, and month-end close
• Revenue, cost of sales, and stock accounting
• Capital and operational expenditure
• Process and systems review and enhancement
• Ad-hoc projects and activities

Candidate requirements:

• Experience handling a high volume of transactions (preferred)
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Excellent time management
• Effective communication with stakeholders
