Bishop Fleming in Birmingham is seeking an ambitious Accountancy Manager to lead our new Birmingham office. You will manage a team delivering compliance and advisory services, mentoring juniors and driving business development with owner-managed clients.

You will work closely with Accountancy Partners to grow the portfolio and add value through expanded services, while maintaining high quality and a trusted advisor approach.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
• Strong communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven ability to coach and develop junior managers and teams.
• Highly commercial with a track record of growing client portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and coach Accountancy team members to develop talent.
• Build strong relationships with owner-managed business clients (turnover £2–£15m).
• Monitor industry developments to maintain competitiveness and efficiency of service.
• Develop local business networks to support business development and growth.
