Job summary

DEANS (STAFFORDSHIRE) LIMITED is seeking an apprentice finance assistant in Stafford. You will work under supervision to prepare accounts for various entities, assist with tax returns, and maintain client records using Xero or similar software.

Full on-the-job training is provided, with day release study to obtain the AAT qualification. This role runs Monday to Friday, with a one-year training period and a local training provider partnership.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 6 or above.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Motivation to study and complete on-the-job training.

Introduction

We are looking for a candidate with strong GCSE's and or A-Levels to join our growing Chartered Accountancy practice in Stafford.

Full on the job training will be provided along with day release study to obtain the AAT qualification.

Deans are a firm of Chartered Accountants based in Stafford who were established in the late 1800's. We operate from modern detached premises in Stafford and have a strong reputation as a training practice for both Chartered and Certified Accountants.

What You'll Do

Preparing under supervision :

Accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

Income tax returns, VAT returns and Corporation tax returns

Maintaining clients records on recognised software such as Xero or similar.

Training Outcome

After obtaining the full AAT qualification candidates may have the opportunity to gain further professional finance qualifications such as ACA or ACCA.
