Job summary

DEANS (STAFFORDSHIRE) LIMITED is seeking an apprentice finance assistant in Stafford. You will work under supervision to prepare accounts for various entities, assist with tax returns, and maintain client records using Xero or similar software.

Full on-the-job training is provided, with day release study to obtain the AAT qualification. This role runs Monday to Friday, with a one-year training period and a local training provider partnership.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 6 or above.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Motivation to study and complete on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and companies.
• Assist with income tax, VAT and corporation tax returns under supervision.
• Maintain client records using Xero or similar software.
