Job Description

Be the primary contact for key stakeholders to communicate the value proposition and execute the infield brand strategy. Develop customer relationships while maximizing opportunities based on strong account plans.

  • Customer Selling and Relationship Management:
  • Drive sales by engaging target healthcare professionals across channels, reflecting customer preferences and leveraging available content.
  • Develop SMART pre-call objectives aligned with territory plans and brand strategy.
  • Handle objections effectively, ensuring a logical call to action or close on every sales call.
  • Educate medical providers, decision-makers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Identify and develop disease state experts to build advocacy aligned with territory plans.

Market Intelligence:

  • Organize and manage stakeholder meetings.
  • Differentiates AbbVie's value proposition from competitors.
  • Communicate effectively and adapt style based on customer insights.

Clinical and Market Knowledge Development:

  • Deep understanding of the product within the NHS healthcare economy.
  • Navigate NHS ecosystem barriers and identify collaborative opportunities.
  • Share best practices to enhance business success.
  • Develop and implement growth plans for current and future opportunities.
  • Maintain expertise in disease areas, products, markets, and competitors.
  • Understand the multi-stakeholder environment.

Territory Management:

  • Analyze sales reports and field intelligence to adapt territory plans.
  • Collaborate with medical colleagues to support customer needs and regional/national programs.
  • Create a business plan for the territory aligned with brand strategy.
  • Target and allocate resources effectively to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Comply with industry and AbbVie regulations.
Qualifications
  • Proven success in pharmaceutical sales.
  • Experience in immunology and/or specialty secondary care is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong customer relationship skills to build and maintain partnerships.
  • SOLUTION-focused with a positive attitude.
  • Strategic thinking and data analytics skills.
