Do you thrive working in partnership, then Account Management could be the route for you!

About Us:

We are SupplyBank, part of Supporting Education Group.

  • Equipping educators with the skills, support and opportunities they need to teach effectively.
  • Helping schools deliver the best possible experience for their students.
  • Giving parents the right tools to help their children learn.

Supporting Education Group brings together services that support every aspect of a child's journey through school and beyond. We build bright futures through expert support, inspiring staff and cutting-edge technology.
People are at the heart of what we do. It's our aim to create an environment and employee experience, which inspires and encourages our people to do their best work. We spend a significant portion of our lives at work, and we believe it's really important to make this as enjoyable as possible. We're passionate about promoting a culture of openness, fairness, and inclusivity. We want everyone to have personal dignity at work and be empowered, so you can be your best, true authentic self each and every day.

About the role:

We are currently looking for someone to join our team for a 12-month FTC, working in partnership with two large MATs covering North Northamptonshire. You will be on-site in schools in areas such as Corby, Kettering & Peterborough.
Due to the exciting growth and trajectory of SupplyBank, this could lead to a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

As an Account Manager at SupplyBank, you will be a key strategic partner to your MAT, delivering business growth through retaining, nurturing, and growing this relationship while ensuring their schools' recruitment needs are met effectively and efficiently.

You will liaise daily with key stakeholders across the trust and their schools, including CEOs, CFOs, finance teams, Head Teachers, and Business Managers. You will also collaborate with SEG branches for Teaching Personnel and Protocol Education, as well as third-party suppliers when needed, to uphold standards and ensure your partnership's success.

You will work closely with a Delivery Consultant, who will support recruitment and retention of educators. You will be responsible for coaching and developing this person to ensure collaboration with operations teams and effective service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain safeguarding and child/vulnerable adult protection standards in line with policies and national guidelines.
  • Engage with key contacts across schools to manage supply recruitment needs and performance.
  • Oversee recruitment requirements for the MAT, ensuring delivery meets expectations.
  • Identify educator shortages and implement recruitment and marketing plans to address them.
  • Manage the use of the Vendor Management System (VMS) for SupplyBank, supported by the hiring desk systems team.
  • Generate, analyze, and report on performance data and statistics.
  • Use client feedback to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and growth areas.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling services.
  • Drive business development by growing existing accounts through strategic partnerships.
  • Present client service reviews and propose Supporting Education Group solutions.
  • Travel regularly to trust and school sites as required.

About you:

You are a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, with good knowledge of the Education Recruitment or education staffing landscape and challenges. This role offers a chance to focus on stakeholder management, relationship building, and service delivery rather than direct sales. You are detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and thrive on feedback. A natural problem solver with project management skills, you work collaboratively to deliver excellent service.

What we offer:

  • 28 days holiday plus an additional day per year (up to 33 days), plus bank holidays.
  • Healthcare plan after passing probation, including private GP access.
  • Free life insurance from day one, covering up to 4x your salary.
  • Employer contributions to your pension after 3 months.
  • Flexible benefits after probation (extra holiday, dental, healthcare top-up, bikes, gym, electric cars, charity giving).
