Job Description:

Fantastic new opportunity with an award-winning, fast-growing communications consultancy, specialising in Public Affairs, Corporate Communications, Financial PR, Digital, Sustainability, and Campaigning.

Responsibilities:
  1. Act as the day-to-day contact for clients to ensure smooth operations.
  2. Take leadership and drive accounts forward.
  3. Lead on first drafts of documents for clients, adapting writing style for different audiences such as politicians and civil servants.
  4. Provide advice and insights to clients.
  5. Coach and mentor junior team members.
  6. Conduct parliamentary and policy monitoring and analysis.
  7. Monitor client news and identify stakeholder engagement opportunities.
  8. Manage stakeholder relationships, coordinate and review engagement plans, and oversee policy and stakeholder briefing notes prepared by juniors.
  9. Participate in new business pitches, oversee research, review findings, and contribute to document creation.
  10. Attend external networking events and webinars relevant to clients.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Strong knowledge of Parliament, Government, and UK political parties.
  • Confidence with parliamentary monitoring tools like Hansard.
  • Genuine interest in politics, current affairs, and business.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills.
  • Experience working in fast-paced team environments.
  • Experience in sectors such as infrastructure, FMCG, retail, technology, energy, or financial services.
