The producer compliance team provides services for e-waste, batteries and packaging producer responsibility for over 800 members.

Department

Producer Compliance (e-waste, batteries and packaging)

Key Duties

• Work as part of the Producer Compliance team, providing a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
• Deal with customer enquiries in a professional and timely fashion, both on the phone and by email.
• Collation of member’s data by category, type and weight and record accurately.
• Analyse data, identify anomalies, interpret trends and patterns within the data sets.
• Submit data to external regulators, meeting required deadlines.
• Ensure new membership accounts are set up correctly and processed in line with the department policies and procedures.
• Compliance related record keeping and administrative duties.
• Arrange collections of WasteCare customers’ waste streams.
• Carry out data audits for members either face to face or via telephone.
• Problem solve in a methodical and professional manner, ensuring all parties are kept updated.
• Ability to spot opportunities for up selling and cross selling for other areas of the business.
• Gain knowledge from Environmental Regulations and guidance documents.
• Identify and define new process improvement opportunities.
• Self-motivated team player who is passionate about their work with a “can do” attitude.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Good analytical and problem-solving approach.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Must have a “hands on” approach as the working day will be varied.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively to meet deadlines.
