Job Description:

Key Account Manager Meat – Northern UK

The function

As an Account Manager Meat, you will be an expert in our meat processing solutions. You will undergo a training program to acquire this knowledge, with duration depending on your skills and experience. You will work with and support other Account Managers, agents, and back office staff to determine customer needs. This role is ideal for those ready to take the next step in their international career, capable of opening new customer doors and managing existing accounts.

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage the sales process from prospecting to take-over protocol, including project sizing and requirements at customer meetings.
  • Support from Product Specialists and Sales Engineers during all project phases.
  • Negotiate final deals, handling terms and conditions with support from the legal department and your manager.
  • Contribute to account and strategic planning for Northern UK, including preparing and executing annual sales plans.
  • Participate in international exhibitions, demos, and events.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (preferably mechanical engineering or food processing technology).
  • 3-8 years of experience in a technical sales environment, with ambition to grow as a sales professional.
  • Experience in the food machinery sector is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Proactive, empathetic, energetic, result-oriented, independent, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Willing to travel approximately 70% of the time.
