The Role

We’re seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Account Manager with consumer and corporate technology communications experience to join our Consumer PR team. You’ll manage day-to-day work for a leading Technology provider, oversee the press office, develop creative campaigns, and build strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and media. The ideal candidate champions diverse thinking, is passionate about creativity and innovation, has a strong interest in technology and AI, and is committed to delivering results.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage the press office, overseeing news requests, media relations, and coverage tracking.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with journalists across UK national, tech, trade, B2B, and lifestyle media.
  3. Develop compelling press releases, briefing notes, messaging, Q&As, statements, and pitches.
  4. Collaborate across teams to execute multi-channel consumer PR campaigns.
  5. Monitor campaign performance and use data to optimize strategies.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends, especially in Generative AI, and share insights.
  7. Mentor junior team members and support senior planning activities.
  8. Ensure compliance with internal processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • At least one year’s experience at Account Manager level.
  • Well-connected with a passion for technology and consumer PR.
  • Strong understanding of media landscape and social media trends.
  • Experience with consumer and B2B technology brands and media relationships.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced agency environment is preferred.
