Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Account Manager / Client Services Manager to join their client services department in Leicester. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and involves managing multiple projects within a manufacturing context. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in POS or similar industries, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to handle a busy project load effectively.

Job description

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for an experienced client facing (internal only) Account Manager / Client Services Manager, with strong project management skills, looking for their next career move

We are looking for someone who has worked in a similar type of role, ideally from a POS background but needs to be from a manufacturing type company

The Job:

  • You will be working in their client services department
  • Your role will involve delivering outstanding customer service through excellent communication and attention to detail, to demanding clients, in a fast paced environment.
  • The role heavily involves internal project management and administration of up to 30 projects at any one time, with an average of 15-20. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing this type of workload
  • On a daily basis, you will be required to manage new client briefs, understand them and prepare them, to be presented into the business for processing through various departments. You will usually be handling multiple briefs at various stages of the estimating, development, manufacturing and despatch phases, whilst at the same time keeping your clients fully informed of the progress of their projects.
  • You will be involved in all aspects of the project management cycle, from start to finish.
  • Working Monday to Friday 8am-5pm with a 4pm finish on a Friday
  • Salary is negotiable, depending on your experience

Candidate specification:

  • Need to have experience in a manufacturing type industry - ideally POS or POP but the right attitude is required
  • Have good interpersonal skills.
  • Have excellent time management / multi-tasking skills / able to prioritise effectively..
  • Have excellent reporting skills.
  • Have excellent IT skills (MS Office).
  • Be adaptable as things can change at any time
  • Be comfortable building and maintaining effective client and internal relationships.
  • Have exemplary levels of attention to detail.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be target driven with an ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Be methodical, precise and be able to maintain accurate record systems and report accordingly.
  • Good numeracy skills
