Account Manager, Amazon Business Advisory

Amazon Seller Services is a division of Amazon Inc., headquartered in Seattle, USA. It aims to help sellers grow their business by leveraging Amazon's capabilities. As a Sales Associate with Amazon Seller Services India, you will deliver Amazon’s offerings to retailers in India. You will engage retailers throughout their lifecycle, identify and recruit those with competitive pricing and broad product selection, train sellers on Amazon systems, and analyze seller performance metrics to foster success.

The ideal candidate has sales experience, can work independently, and influence external parties. Comfort with technology, data analysis, and executing repeatable processes is essential. Operating in a dynamic environment requires adaptability and problem-solving skills.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Understand Amazon products and services and communicate their benefits effectively.
  • Define target seller bases and industry verticals using local insights.
  • Identify valuable sellers and establish long-term partnerships.
  • Manage seller integration and provide basic training for self-reliance.
  • Monitor performance and sales of key partners.
Prior Experience and Skills:
  • Over 3 years of sales experience.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Passion for e-commerce.
  • Results-oriented with external customer interaction.
  • Metrics-driven business management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with SME retailers, e-commerce, retail, advertising, or media is advantageous.
  • Understanding of retail and wholesale in India; experience with sellers/distributors is desirable.
  • Experience selling to new markets or nascent products/services is a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial drive and goal achievement in fast-paced settings.
  • Proficiency in local language is desirable.
